ERGECD 2017 Meeting

A warm welcome to the 27th meeting of the European Research Group on Experimental Contact Dermatitis (ERGECD). Over the years, ERGECD meetings have provided a forum in which participants from various sectors including industry and academia can meet to present and discuss cutting edge research related to contact dermatitis.
The meeting will take place from May 17th to 19th , 2017 at the Givaudan, Kemptthal site - one of the largest historical industrial sites in Switzerland, and where originally the Maggi soups were invented and produced…..

How to get there
By Public transport:
Givaudan Kemptthal is within easy reach (~30 min) by public transportation:
from Zürich main railway station: use S7 train direction "Winterthur" to station Kemptthal.
From Zürich airport (20 min), use S24 train direction "Thayngen", change at Bassersdorf and take S7 train direction "Winterthur".
From Winterthur (4 min): use S7 train direction "Rapperswil". Trains run every 30 min.
Kemptthal railway station is just at the entry of the site.
18.7 km from airport, about 15 min, about CHF 85 - 100
It is recommended to use Hotels in Winterthur (4 minutes by public transport from Kemptthal; 20 min from Zürich).

As it is tradition at ERGECD, every participant is entitled to give an oral presentation.
Presentations are limited to 12 min, with 3 min for discussions.
Presenters should submit a title along with their registration, no abstract is needed!
The Scientific program will be composed based on the submissions and will be posted here after April 15th.
Presentations will reflect areas of interest in the field of contact dermatitis including:
Chemical aspects of skin sensitization
In vitro testing and new methods
Metabolism, pre- and prohaptens
Other aspects and new developments
Registration and presentation submission
